His journey in Freemasonry began in April 2010, with the Lodge of Beneficence No.7978. By April 2012, he had been raised, and in February 2019, he proudly took on the role of Worshipful Master. His masonic path has been one of dedication and service: appointed as a Provincial Grand Steward in 2020, he served for two years and later became the Deputy Provincial Membership Officer, supporting brethren across Chelmsford, Chingford, Southend-on-Sea, and Rochford.
He contributes actively to the Provincial Communications Team and played a key role in founding the Essex County Golf Lodge No.10045. His charitable heart beats through his service as a Charity Steward in the Essex Provincial Stewards Lodge 8665, where he previously held the Office of Steward.
In 2024/5, he was promoted to Assistant Grand Director of Ceremonies, a distinction that saw re-appointment in 2025/6. In November 2024, he became the Most Excellent Zerubbabel (MEZ) of the Pitsea Chapter, furthering his commitment to Royal Arch Masonry. His masonic journey spans the Craft, Royal Arch, Mark & Royal Ark Mariner, and Knights Templar Orders.
Outside of work and Freemasonry, he lives a rich and fulfilling life. A golf enthusiast with a handicap of 18, he enjoys the strategy of the game as much as the serenity of the green. Fitness is a passion—PT gym sessions keep him sharp—and he finds joy in film, theatre, and design. Yet his greatest joy comes from home: time spent with his wife Jo and their ten-year-old son, Harrison.
Approachable and lighthearted, he brings warmth to every setting. Though a perfectionist at heart, it’s a trait that fuels his pursuit of excellence in all things. Whether on the fairway, at the altar, in the lodge room, or with his family, his story is one of dedication, dignity, and a quietly powerful presence that makes a lasting impression.
